Regenerative Medicine is the integration of tissue engineering and cell technologies for the repair or regeneration of the structure and function of tissues damaged by aging or disease. Significant progress has been made in the clinical application of adult stem cells, in particular bone marrow derived stromal cells (BMSCs).
